Preventive / General Maintenance Program receives a comprehensive maintenance and safety inspection.

Preventive Maintenance servicing of Sectional Doors includes the:

• Inspection, tightening, lubrication and/or adjustment of all sections.
• Door alignment
• Hinges, hardware, cables, drums, track and track fasteners.
• Springs
• Rollers, bearings and chain hoists.

Preventive Maintenance servicing of Operators includes:

• Inspection, tightening, lubrication and/or adjustment of all limit switches, belts, brakes, clutches and sprockets.
• Mountings, disconnects, roller chains, bearings and safety devices.
• A detailed preventive maintenance inspection checklist is completed for each sectional Door Opening, noting any safety issues or recommended repairs.

The preventive maintenance inspection checklist is reviewed and a copy is sent with the invoice.

Whenever possible, authorized repairs are done at time of preventive maintenance inspection.

This preventive maintenance is billed on a per door basis. During the preventive maintenance, the replacement of small parts deemed necessary for optimal operation of equipment will be performed. If major repairs requiring extended hours to perform or major parts costs are needed, these will receive prior approval before being completed.

Note: Preventative maintenance cannot predict the life expectancy of springs and cannot predict the failure of motor operators. The inspection and PM can only optimize the functionality of the equipment at the point in time of performance.
